The second session of SSC CGL 2015 Exam started today with the first shift starting from 10 AM today. We have already covered the analysis of 9th August Paper and the paper this year is of moderate difficulty level. The SSC CGL Tier I Exam Morning Slot Paper had 8 sets, with 2 unique papers. The number & type of questions and the difficulty level almost were same in all the 8 Set.
General Intelligence & Reasoning Section
General Intelligence & Reasoning section was again the easiest section among all four sections in SSC CGL Tier I Paper. Most of the Questions were on Analogy, Odd one Out, Series, Visual Reasoning & Mixed Questions. Here are the details of type of Reasoning question asked in SSC CGL Tier I 2015 16th August10 AM Paper:
General Awareness Section
General awareness topic had many questions on Static GK and there were very few questions on Current Affairs. Most of the questions in this section was from Science topic. This Section was of moderate to high difficulty level as it has always been and the good attempts has been of 18-20 questions. Below is the topic – wise breakup of this section:
Quantitative Aptitude Section
Like previous paper, majority of the questions of this section were on Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic & Trigonometry. The Arithmetic questions were easy, however the Geometry and Trigonometry topic was of moderate difficulty level . In Data Interpretation topic question was straight forward and had simple calculation. The topic wise details are as below:
English Section
As before, this section had majority of questions on Vocabulary & Grammar. In Vocabulary, questions were on Antonyms, Synonyms, Idioms, One word for many and Fill in the Blanks. In Grammar, questions of Spotting the Error, Sentence Correction and Fill in the Blanks. There were two Easy Reading Comprehension Passages with 5 questions each.
